How to Use Find a Class

With over 1,000 credit and non-credit classes, how do you find the classes you want to take at the NWTC location closest to you?

Follow these steps:

  1. Choose a Subject (field of interest), semester, location, delivery type, delivery schedule or date in the left navigation. To refine your search results you can also search by keyword.
  2. Press Enter on your keyboard, or click the Search button at the bottom left of the page.
  3. A list of classes will be displayed. Click the “Learn more” button to see details about that course.
  4. To add the class to your cart, click the “Add to Cart” button under the class details table.
  5. When you are ready to purchase your classes, click the “View Cart” button. If you do not have an account you will be asked to create one now. To remove a class from your cart, click the “X” button to the left of it in the cart.
  6. Click Checkout to proceed to checkout.

Phone-In Registration

To register with one of our friendly Enrollment Services staff, please call: 920-498-5444 or 888-385-NWTC during regular office hours. Please have your Student ID and a credit card available for payment of all non-credit classes.

Mail-In Registration

Registrations are processed by postmark dates. Checks should be made payable to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and mailed WITH REGISTRATION FORM to:

Walk-In Registration at any NWTC location

At the NWTC-Green Bay campus, go to the Student Center, Level 2, Welcome Center. At all other sites, go to the front desk.

Delivery Types - How do you want to learn?


Your instructor and fellow students are with you, face-to-face, in the classroom and/or lab. Classes are held on specific dates/times.


Learn anytime and anywhere you have access to the internet. Instructors are just a click away.

Video Conference

Come to a campus for class on specific dates/times. You will engage with your instructor virtually through video conference technology, connecting room to room.


Learn anywhere you have access to the internet. Virtually meet at specific dates/times, connecting people to people.


Any combination of in-person, online, video conference, web conference and LinC delivery methods.

Learning in Community (LinC)

Study and work in a group of no more than 24 students. Together, the group will take two or more classes which will be linked in multiple ways.

Delivery Schedules - What kind of class works best for you?

Full Semester Class

Attend class as scheduled the entire length of the semester or longer.

Accelerated Class

Earn the same number of credits as in a traditional class but in less class time. You will experience more independent projects, fewer class meetings.

Self-Paced Class

Student driven completion with available instructor support to be completed within class dates.

Weekend Class

Classes are held Friday after 4pm, and/or Saturday, and/or Sunday.


Step up your skills and knowledge with short, non-credit seminars offered through NWTC’s Corporate Training and Educational Development department.
